Georgian 2TV channel started airing over Azerspace-1

Baku, 28 January 2016 – Azercosmos OJSCo, the premier satellite operator in the South Caucasus, signed an agreement with The Georgian Public Broadcasting (GBP) on commercial broadcast of one more TV channel – 2TV. In accordance with the agreement, 2TV which functions under GBP is broadcasted over Azerspace-1 via 11095/H/27500 frequency as of January 2016.

2TV was established in 1991. Currently, the channel broadcasts mainly documentaries and socio-political news which is viewed by 55% of Georgian population.
