Crop map of Azerbaijan by Azercosmos included in the “Esri Map Book” publication

 “The Cropmap of Azerbaijan” developed by the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Center of Azercosmos, has been included in the 40th edition of the prestigious cartography publication “Esri Map Book.”

Published annually, the Esri Map Book showcases innovative maps and applications created using ArcGIS software. This publication features some of the best works selected from the Map Gallery of the Esri International User Conference and presents how GIS technology is applied across various fields to a wide audience.

This year’s theme of the Esri Map Book is “GIS Uniting Our World”. The theme emphasizes the collaborative efforts of professionals to strengthen global connectivity and advance shared goals by leveraging the power of geography. Among the selected maps, “The Cropmap of Azerbaijan” stands out as a representation of the country’s agricultural potential.
