Azercosmos will take part in IBC 2026 (International Broadcasting Convention), held in Amsterdam (RAI Amsterdam) from September 11–14, 2026. One of the world's largest events for media, broadcasting, and entertainment technology, IBC is expected to draw more than 40,000 attendees and over 1,300 exhibiting companies from more than 170 countries.

At the event, Azercosmos will discuss its satellite-based broadcasting and communication services with global representatives of the media and broadcasting industry.

Hosting the CEPT CPG PTB meeting in Baku demonstrates Azerbaijan’s growing role in international telecommunications and radio-frequency spectrum management. The opening of the first ITU Regional Acceleration Centre in the CIS region in Baku in 2025 further strengthened Azerbaijan’s position as a regional digital leader. The Centre serves as a platform for regional cooperation in innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation, while hosting the CEPT meeting in Baku will once again demonstrate Azerbaijan’s institutional capacity and ability to successfully host high-level international events. Azerbaijan has also put forward its candidacy for the ITU Council for the 2027–2030 term, while Sitara Mehdiyeva, Head of Azercosmos’ Radio Frequency Management Department, is a candidate for membership of the ITU Radio Regulations Board (RRB) for the same period. The meeting will provide an important opportunity to professionally present her candidacy, strengthen engagement with representatives of CEPT countries, and showcase Azerbaijan’s expertise in spectrum and satellite-orbit resource management.

Caspian Construction Week is one of the region’s key events for the construction, infrastructure, and urban development sectors. Azercosmos will present satellite-powered geospatial solutions that support land surveying, construction planning, infrastructure monitoring, and data-driven decision-making for development projects.
