A delegation from Azercosmos held high-level meetings with leading satellite companies in the cities of Hefei and Shanghai in the People's Republic of China, participating in technical inspections, live demonstrations, and strategic workshops.
During the visit, quality assessments were carried out at the Rhosoon factory in Hefei, and an agreement was reached on the joint production of RS-series user terminals specially designed for Azconnexus, a brand of Azercosmos. This step will support the deployment of new COTM (Communications on the Move) services.
The team also explored advanced IoT (Internet of Things) and broadband communication models, reviewed roadmaps for satellite constellations, and discussed collaboration opportunities aimed at accelerating the adoption of satellite-based IoT and broadband solutions both in Azerbaijan and beyond.
