Registration Continues to Submit a Scientific Article to the International Astronautics Congress

From October 14 to 18 2024 the 75th International Astronautics Congress (IAC) will be held in the city of Milan, Italy.

An event held under the slogan of Responsible Space for Sustainability, also in conjunction with a scientific competition. Professionals wishing to represent our country with a scientific article at this year's IAC can apply through the provided https://iafastro.directory/iac/account/login website until February 28. Participants interested in submitting a scientific article are advised to closely review the guidelines provided below.

The scientific articles you prepare will be selected based on the following criteria:

1.    The originality of the scientific article in terms of ideas and theoretical-practical examples and the presence of content created by the participant are essential;

2.    An article prepared in accordance with the slogan of IAC Milan, "Responsible Space for Sustainability";

3.    Proficiency in the English language at a high level;

4.    Presentation skills, strong communication skills: clear and fluent speech.

Participants can present scientific works in the following areas:

·      Science and Research - about cosmic systems and devices ensuring missions, including the impact of space on daily life, also cosmic research, cosmic observations, and extraterrestrial research on Earth;

·      Applications and Operations - including Earth observation, communication, navigation, ongoing and future operational applications, including tasks undertaken by humans in space and small satellites;

·      Technology - general technologies for astrodynamics and space systems;

·      Infrastructure - systems ensuring the transportation of the space system, including future systems and security, for space missions;

·      Space and Society - the mutual relationship between space and society, including the impact of space in education, politics, economy, history, and law;

·      Innovations in the Space Field.

Scientific papers are accepted according on the instructions provided below:

·      The scientific paper should be written in English using "Microsoft Word";

·      Each author can submit several articles;

·      The summary section of the article should be no more than 400 words;

·      When preparing the article, the names of all authors must be mentioned; The article must be registered by the main author.

·      After registering on the https://iafastro.directory/iac/account/login/ website, the author should create an account and upload their articles to the "restricted area" section;

·      The deadline for submitting the summary is February 28, 2024.

·      The structure of the article should include the following sections:

·      All words in the title should be capitalized;

·      The introduction section should state the purpose of the scientific work;

·      The methodology section should demonstrate the methods used in the scientific work;

·      In the results and discussion section, the author(s) should present and explain the final results of the scientific work. The use of tables or graphics in the article is not allowed;

·      In the conclusion section, it is preferable to express the ideas of the article in a concise manner, not exceeding one sentence.

We would like to remind that during the last IAC held in Baku, our country presented a record number of scientific articles for the first time in the history of the event - 214 articles. Among them, 81 scientific articles were prepared by students studying at 14 universities in Azerbaijan.
